With abated breath
My eyes search for him
Thirsty, longing eyes,
For that long
Awaited glimpse.
I see him searching
In the frenzied crowd.
Our eyes meet…
The noise and din
Fade into silence
One another.
For that split second
All cease to exist
But love…
I want to run
To his arms
But waver…
He is not alone.
The crowd swallows
That magical moment
Like a hungry tide
He is lost in the
Milieu of faces
And I turn away
With only a memory
Of that love filled gaze
To wait for another day
Another moment
Till we meet again.
It's beautiful ..... what more can i say ....
