My Love...

My love…

What is it about you my love?
That you come uninvited…
Filling my empty heart
Overwhelming my senses
When I searched not for you…

What is it about you my love?
That I want to break into
A dance, a song
A smile for everyone,
Thinking of you…

What is it about you my love?
That the colors and hues
Of my dreary world
Intensify to a riot,
Vibrant and intense…

What is it about you my love?
That I hold on to your hand
Never wanting to let go…
Wishing every moment
Never flitted away…

What is it about you my love?
That my desires and passion
Soar like an eagle
Reaching newer heights…
Exploring new dimensions in me

What is it about you my love?
That with renewed vigor
I embark on this journey
Of life, filled with strife
Without fear, without doubt…

What is it about you my dearest love?
That enwrapped in your arms
I feel rested and peaceful
At last…

  2. For a couple of weeks now I've been reading about love...being in love... what is love... Geez! I wish I could catch the fever and allow love to melt me that way...

I've been reflecting about this over and it's so wonderful to feel loved...to 'feel rested'... secured and 'peaceful'...

And I have to open my eyes to the many wonders this Lover brings :)

I love this Rimly! I wish to read more of this from you :D

  8. I am in love with this one...When you fall in love, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake, and then it subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots are become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the desire to mate every second of the day. It is not lying awake at night imagining his kisses. For that is just being in love; which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over, when being in love has burned away...Yesterday, I thought I loved you as much as any one person could love another. Today, I found out that I was wrong and love you even more..Beautiful Rimly..Just as you are.

  38. Rimly it is the search of the heart that forever seeks..." What is it about you my Love"...I felt in this poem your journey into the understanding of "Your Love"...who are you, what are you, where do you take me? Will I recognize you? The loneliness within the search...will you lead me to the love I seek? The ups and downs along the way...yet empowered by Hope. The memory of the heights and euphoria of the soul, once found is forever embedded in your heart...craving to be felt and held again...in the other worldly embrace of Love's Arms...holding your heart within the dance. Never lost, only on the horizon, waiting to be found again...absolutley Beautiful...from the wisdom of a Heart well lived. My dear friend...Always..
