Your Voice


Your Voice

Why do I love you
The way I do?
That all I need is
Your voice…
Deep and tender,
A soft murmur
In the silken darkness
As it soothes my
Weary soul
To come alive again...
To a renewed hope,
A crazy desire to love,
To bask in its
Glorious warmth...  
    There are days
When all I do
Is listen to that
Deep timbre tone
As it gently stirs me
While the words
That pour from you,
A hum in the night…
Only your voice
Across impossible miles
Tingles in my ears
As emotions overwhelm my senses…
Safe, 
Willing to dream
Once again,
To live in our fantasy…
And I close my eyes
 Falling in love with you
All over again…

    The timbre of his voice across a million miles is nectar to the ears. Sometimes the sound of his voice is the only thing you need, to hear his heartbeats.The joy you experience sends shivers down your spine. Lovely poem of pure, long distance sweet love between two lonely but fulfilled people.

    I know how this poem was born..and I hope and pray such poems are always written by you..Forever is not a word...rather a place where two lovers go when true love takes them there.To translate love into words, is an impossible task, cause you'll know love when you hear it, it all depends on who you are with.
    Loving a person is loving everything but the person. Being in love with that person is loving everything and that person.
    I loved this one Rimly..waiting to read more..."THE AFTER EFFECTS"..
